Commissions

After submitting the commission inquiry form and providing your reference image(s), you will receive a quote for your commission.

This quote is valid for up to 2 weeks after it has been provided. 
 
You will receive updates via email for project progression at which time small changes may be requested. Any change requests the artist deems drastic and not discussed before the pricing was determined may result in additional charges due upon completion of the artwork. In this case you will receive the “Custom Artwork Pricing Amendment” form which must be signed before the artist continues work on your piece. 
 
A deposit of 50% is due before work begins on your painting/drawing. The deposit is refundable until the artist begins work on your Commission. Once your artwork has begun no refund will be supplied. Custom pieces are placed in queue to be completed based on the date deposits are received. The balance of payment is due upon completion of the commission.
 
Shipping/Delivery charges may vary. 
 
Social Media/Marketing: Rae Wright Artistry will record and/or photograph your artwork while it is in progress. These videos and photographs may be used on any of Rae Wright Artistry’s social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, and TikTok. Rae Wright Artistry reserves the right to use your artwork for marketing and teaching purposes. Names and other personal details will not be shared to respect privacy of The Purchaser. 
 
Copyright: Rae Wright Artistry retains the copyright to all works commissioned, including but not limited to, reproduction rights. No artworks may be reproduced or altered without the written consent of the artist. 
 
Right of Refusal: In the event that you do not wish to complete the purchase of the commissioned artwork, you may refuse. In this event, Rae Wright Artistry will retain the artwork and deposit. The Artist may keep the artwork for use in portfolio, gallery, marketing, or it may be sold or destroyed at the Artist’s discretion. 
 
Returns: Refunds and returns are not permitted on custom artwork. 
 
Turnaround time averages 2-3 weeks for completion depending on the current queue. Completion times will be discuss prior to purchase.
This does not include the time to deliver/ship.
